Khan Academy is a non-profit organization whose focus is changing education for the better by providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere.  Their extensive library of video lessons covers topics such as math, science, history, and even finance.  These are not sixty minute videos too long for most students to grasp.  Khan has appropriately placed an approximate length of around 10 minutes to their videos allowing for an engaging experience.  Don’t for a second think this is just a site with a huge library of videos, it is so much more.  Teachers once you log in, Khan will give you directions for you students to log in.  Teachers will have access to the Teacher Toolkit.  This toolkit consists of random question quizzes, self paced lessons, and access to student data.  Many classrooms across the country are moving to prescriptive learning plans.  Khan Academy allows for teachers to follow each student’s progress with the ability to dive in success and struggles.  Kahn Academy is a complete system of learning that will boost engagement, increase academics, and allow students to visually understand their learning paths.  Oh yea, their on the iPad, iPod, iPhone, and Google Play for Android.
